October 30 - November 2, 2008, Barcelona, Spain

Dear Friends,

We are proud to announce that the 2nd World Congress on Controversies in Diabetes, Obesity and Hypertension (CODHy) will take place in Barcelona, Spain on October 30 - November 2, 2008.

The first CODHy conference took place in Berlin in October 2006, with the participation of 1,770 physicians, and was the first scientific meeting of its kind focusing on hot topics facing the clinician today. The proceedings of the congress will soon be published in a special supplement of the "Diabetes Care" Journal.

Based on the success of the first meeting and on feedback from the participants – the next CODHy meeting is planning to include multiple controversies and debates as well as plenary sessions discussing innovations in the field. We will also include discussions on several of the large ongoing clinical studies that are scheduled to end during 2007-2008 in order to resolve controversies and reach a consensus.

We would be pleased to have you among the participants of this exciting congress.
Sincerely,
Prof. Itamar Raz
On behalf of the Organizing Committee
