Friends of D Cure

The US Friends of D Cure organization (FODC) is actively dedicated to the expansion of
D Cure's fundraising efforts in the Unites States.

FODC President, Prof. Jesse Roth , is best known for his pioneering work in cell surface receptors including groundbreaking work on the insulin receptor.  Prof Roth is a professor of medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, formerly Scientific Director and Diabetis Branch Chief, NIDDK NIH, Bethesda.

FODC First Vice President, Prof. Derek LeRoith, is a professor of Medicine and Chief of Endocrinology and Diabetes at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, formerly Diabetes Branch Chief NIDDK, NIH.

FODC Second Vice President, Prof Itamar Raz, is also President of D-Cure Israel and Chairman, Israel National Council on Diabetes-Ministry of Health.

FODC Chairman, Jonathan Sohnis, is Cofounder of the Altronix Corporation, a leading manufacturer of industrial electronic products.  He is a member of numerous scientific and academic advisory boards, including the International SAB for the RBNI nanotechnology institute at The Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.  Jonathan is an active philanthropist and he is an innovator of multidisciplinary scientific research projects.
